Characterization of human iPSC-derived fibroblasts

Fibroblasts are known to be a heterogeneous population, but the characteristics of subpopulations in different tissues and their relationship to pathological conditions such as fibrosis have not been fully elucidated. We induced the differentiation of human iPS cells into FBs of different organ types and performed transcriptome analysis of these cells. We analyzed the expression profiles of human iPSC-derived dermal fibroblasts (DFB), cardiac fibroblasts (CFB), and hepatic fibroblasts (HFB).
