Replication Data for: Event Detection in News Articles using 5W Question Answering

This dataset contains the 5W Question Answering annotations of 100 news articles. The articles were chosen from 13 different publishers and were published within the time frame of 2016-11-03 and 2016-11-14. Each article was annotated by three students, and the annotations with the highest agreement were chosen as a golden standard for 5W QA on news articles. Each entry holds up to three annotations for the questions who, what, when, where and why. Additionally, each entry also features the date of publication as well as the source URL.
