In the present study, the regulatory role of AOX pathway during red non-motile cell germination was confirmed and the regulatory mechanisms were clarified. The AOX specific inhibitor salicylhydroxamic acid (SHAM) was dissolved in ethanol and added into the culture at final concentrations of 0.5 mM as the SHAM group. Culture with an equal amount of ethanol was used as the control group. Samples including the control group and the SHAM group with three biological replicates at 24 h and 48 h for transcriptomic analysis.
