Shown is the distribution of single-stranded (6-4)pyrimidine-pyrimidone dimers (ss(6-4)PP) and incorporated 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine (EdU) in Msh6, Xpa double-deficient mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells, 4 hours after UVC exposure. ES cells were pulse labeled with EdU immediately following treatment with 2J/m2 UVC. At 0 or 4 hours after UVC exposure, cells were stained for ss(6-4)PP (magenta), incorporated EdU (green) and DNA (blue).
