Resolving edge-site specificity of Zn sorption on montmorillonite and pyrophyllite: Insights from Zn isotope fractionation

The dataset shows the results regarding Zn sorption on montmorillonite and pyrophyllite, including macroscopic sorption data, Zn isotopic data, X-ray absorption spectroscopy data, XRD data, DFT input file and a compilation of first-shell Zn–O coordination numbers during Zn sorption onto different 2:1 clay minerals.
