This dataset supports the development and validation of FEDRANN, a novel computational framework for overlap graph construction in de novo genome assembly. Overlap detection is a critical yet computationally intensive step in the Overlap-Layout-Consensus (OLC) paradigm, particularly when handling large-scale long-read sequencing datasets and repetitive genomic regions. This project was established to provide a reproducible resource for integrating feature extraction, dimensionality reduction (DR), and approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) search into the assembly pipeline. <br>The dataset includes raw and simulated long-read sequencing data used to benchmark the Fedrann pipeline. It contains CycloneSEQ G400-ER sequencing reads, PBSIM3-generated simulated datasets.
