T-cell repertoire analysis of Susac Syndrome patients

In this study, the contribution of T cells to the pathophysiology of the neuroinflammatory condition Susac syndrome (SuS) was investigated. Distinctive features of TCR repertoire of SuS patient CD8 T cells were found when compared with the repertoires of healthy controls (HD) and multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. Oligoclonal expansion of terminally differentiated activated cytotoxicCD8+ T cells (CTLs) were further identified as potential contributors to this disease.
