Differential correction methods often focus on rapid convergence using linearization methods that sometimes require human interactions to address any failures in the process. In previous work, we introduced the first step of targeting in an overall geometric approach to differential correction that focuses on the robustness of convergence. Here, we explore different avenues for completing the differential correction process using a combination of screens and targets with an optimization approach using a cost function. Example scenarios are implemented in the circular restricted three-body problem, and the convergence process is summarized.
