Skin microbiome of the finger, palm, arm and forehead sites of individuals at consecutive time points

Third-generation full-length 16SrRNA gene sequencing technology was used to compare the skin microbiota of the fingers, palm, arm, and forehead of individuals commonly collected at successive time points. And it assessed significant differences in the predictive power of two signature types, skin bacterial species and SNPs, in identifying sites and individuals.
