Cataglyphis niger isolate:BZT_M4B Genome sequencing and assembly

Here we present the genome of the ant Cataglyphis niger. We used a single male to construct two Illumina Paired-end DNA libraries of 290 and 510bp.sequencing was done with the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. We assembled the genome using the SPAdes assembler followed by gene annotation with MAKER.
