The data was obtained by us using the WRF - Chem model for the dust storm events during 00 UTC from March 25 - 31, 2021 and from April 16 - 24, 2023 to obtain the dust concentration. During the simulation process, meteorological variables were adjusted through grid nudging with the ERA5 re - analysis data to improve the accuracy of dust transport. In order to isolate the transport of dust from the Great Lakes Basin, forward tracking of air masses was carried out by applying LAGRANTO (Lagrangian trajectory analysis tool) to the output data of the model simulation results.
本数据集系我方采用WRF-Chem模型,针对2021年3月25日至31日00时UTC以及2023年4月16日至24日之间的沙尘暴事件进行模拟,以获取沙尘浓度。在模拟过程中,通过网格平滑调整与ERA5再分析数据的气象变量,以提升沙尘传输的精确度。为隔离五大湖盆地的沙尘传输,我们通过应用LAGRANTO(拉格朗日轨迹分析工具)于模型模拟结果输出数据,实施了空气团的正向追踪分析。
