The dataset comprises comprehensive geochemical analyses (ICP-MS, XRF, EPMA) of rocks and minerals utilized in mineral carbonation experiments conducted under controlled conditions of 185 °C and a CO₂ partial pressure of 100 bar. It includes quantitative X-ray diffraction (XRD) data, specifically the intensity and 2θ positions of diffraction peaks, characterizing the crystalline phases present in the materials. Additionally, the dataset contains chemical compositions of the post-carbonation fluid extracted from the reaction vessel, analyzed using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). Complementing the analytical data, the dataset features raw optical and electron microscopy images of the sample materials, captured both prior to and following carbonation, providing visual documentation of microstructural changes induced by the reaction.
