Upcycling PET plastic waste into bacterial nanocellulose based electro catalyst efficient in direct methanol fuel cells
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the raw and processed data supporting the article: “Upcycling PET plastic waste into bacterial nanocellulose based electro catalyst efficient in direct methanol fuel cells” (DOI: doi.org/10.1016/j.crcon.2025.100340). The data and files are related to the study on the conversion of PET-derived hydrolysates into bacterial nanocellulose (BNC) and its application in catalyst development for methanol oxidation. The Dataset includes FTIR, TGA and DTGA analyses used to characterize the materials at various stages of the process. These analyses support the optimization of BNC production, its blending with poly(vinyl alcohol) to enhance platinum nanoparticle deposition, and the development of a cost-effective Pt-based catalyst. The data provide insight into the structural and thermal properties of the resulting composites, contributing to the broader goal of transforming PET plastic waste into functional materials for direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC).The dataset includes:• Dataset.7z with 14 files (including 2 figures and 12 spreadsheets). • Documentation and metadata for reproducibility (readme.txt).The dataset is linked to the publication for transparency and compliance with FAIR principles.
