Reproducibility dataset and code for territorial deprivation and remotely mapped building damage after the 2026 Colombia earthquake

This repository contains the data, analytical outputs, code, and figures supporting the study “Territorial deprivation and remotely mapped building damage after the 2026 Colombia earthquake: A multi-city analysis”. The study integrates post-event building damage information from the Copernicus Emergency Management Service activation EMSR916, seismic intensity data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) ShakeMap for event us6000tjl2, building footprints and attributes from Overture Maps, and census-block socioeconomic information from the 2018 Colombian Population and Housing Census (CNPV 2018) produced by the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE). The repository includes the integrated analytical dataset, spatial matching outputs, census-block Service Deprivation Index (SDI) analyses, building-damage occurrence and severity model outputs, sensitivity and robustness analyses, manuscript figures, variable documentation, and Python scripts for reproducing the principal descriptive results and figures and auditing the main model estimates reported in the manuscript. The original source-data archives from Copernicus EMS, USGS, Overture Maps, and DANE are not redistributed as part of this repository and should be obtained from their respective official sources. Source attribution and licensing information are provided in the repository documentation.
