Trial-by-review inclusion matrix: syntheses of zinc for neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia, 2015–2026

In this version the column for the 2015 Cochrane review is left unresolved, so the sensitivity analysis adding that review to the prevention stratum computes as CCA 47.6% instead of the correct 52.4% (N = 18). All other values are unaffected (prevention 71.4%, adjunct 39.7%, seven reviews pooled 29.0%). Every primary randomised trial (rows) against every systematic review or meta-analysis of zinc for neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia (columns) whose inclusion list could be verified from its full text. 24 rows × 15 columns. Each cell records not only whether a review included a trial but the reference number under which that review cited it, so every entry can be traced back to the source document. The dataset is the source from which the corrected covered area (CCA) values reported in the associated article are computed — 71.4% for the prevention stratum and 39.7% for the adjunct-to-phototherapy stratum — and it allows those values to be recalculated independently. Pre-specified alias-normalisation rules, the stratification by review question, and the CCA workings are documented in the accompanying data dictionary.
