Micronutrient and trace element concentrations and fluxes in Litterfall and throughfall.
Metadata describes collection methods and analytical chemical methods of measurement.
Six sites are in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire
Tree species include Northern hardwoods of American beech (Fagus grandifolia), birches (Betula nigra, Betula papyrifera, Betula populifolia), sugar and red maple (Acer saccharum and Acer rubrum), red oak (Quercus rubrus) white oak (Quercus alba), chestnut oak (Quercus montana), pignut hickory (Carya glabra), and mockernut hickory (Carya tomentosa), and tulip poplar/tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera).
Throughfall and litterfall were collected Fall 2018 until Fall 2022.
