资源简介:
Csv files containing raw data for rheological characterization of calcium alginate and methyl cellulose/hylauronan injectable hydrogels. File name indicates sample type, concentration and test mode (time sweep, frequency sweep, stress sweep, stress ramp). To prepare calcium alginate gels, alginic acid sodium salt (Fluka Analytical 71240, Mw = 1.2 - 1.9 x 105 g mol-1, M/G ratio = 1.56), was dissolved w/v in deionized water. CaCO3 (1/4 over alginate monomer moles) was added as the insoluble calcium source and vortexed until a homogeneous dispersion was obtained. Freshly made solution of D-Gluconic acid-δ-lactone (GDL) in deionized water was allowed to hydrolyse and reach a pH of 2.6 – 2.8 and mixed to Ca-alginate solutions at the same molarity of alginate and the mixtures was used after stirring for about 15 seconds. Hyaluronan/methylcellulose (HA-MC) gels were prepared with MC with two different viscosities (HV = high viscosity MC - Methocel A4M and LV = low viscosity MC - A15 PREM LV) dissolved in Dulbecco's phosphate-buffered saline (D-PBS) heated at 55 °C. After stirring, the solution was allowed to equilibrate at 4 °C overnight. Hyaluronic acid sodium salt from Streptococcus equi (Mw = 1.5 – 1.8 x 106 g mol-1) was added to MC solutions and again maintained overnight at 4 °C. Rheological test were performed using a CVO 120 stress controlled Rotational Rheometer (Bohlin Instruments) using parallel plates, except for steady shear measurements where a cone-plate geometry (φ = 40 mm, θ = 1°) was used.
