Carbon biogeochemistry of major rivers in northern Québec [summer 2010 snapshot]

This includes biogeochemical data of 23 major rivers draining the northern Québec. Each river has been sampled once in summer 2010, and sampling sites were distributed (whenever possible) along the river channel with one station on an upper reach, one in the middle and another at or close to the river mouth or for some rivers, only in the mouth. For each site, data were recorded on date, geographic location, water physical and chemical conditions, watershed and terrain properties recovered using GIS system (e.g. land use cover, rock type and soil type), gas fluxes measurements for carbon dioxide and methane, and concentrations of several constituents of the total carbon (total, particulate, dissolved, organic and inorganic, isotopic composition), nutrients (total phosphorus and total nitrogen) and suspended particles.
