Dataset for Tidal Tails and Mass Segregation in Nearby Open Clusters with Gaia DR3
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the underlying data for the article "Tidal Tails and Mass Segregation in Nearby Open Clusters with Gaia DR3", accepted for publication in Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A). The repository comprises two main components: Member Star Catalogs: Comprehensive member star catalogs for 65 nearby open clusters. Membership was robustly determined using Gaia DR3 astrometric and photometric data through a two-stage pipeline. Stage I identifies candidate structures using NearestNeighbors and DBSCAN, while Stage II refines individual cluster membership using the Forest Fire Clustering (FFC) algorithm, requiring a 2-sigma statistical overlap for distance modulus and color excess. The data files include fundamental source parameters, astrometry, final membership probabilities, and structural fit parameters (e.g., core and tidal radii). Fundamental and Orbital Parameters: Three summary tables detailing the basic physical properties, extended structural/dynamical parameters, and complete kinematic/orbital properties of the analyzed clusters.
