资源简介:
Feline chronic gingivostomatitis (FCGS) is a kind of oral ulcer and/or proliferative lesion with a typical location of palatine tongue fold. Because of its unknown pathogenesis and long course of disease, it is difficult to treat and has a high recurrence rate. Most of the bacteria in the oral flora exist in the mouth in a symbiotic way and maintain a dynamic balance, and when the balance is broken, it may cause disease. The disturbance of oral flora may play an important role in the development of FCGS. In this study, the medical records of 3109 cats in three general pet hospitals in Xi 'an were collected. 61 cases with FCGS were investigated by questionnaire, routine oral examination and laboratory examination. Oral flora samples were collected from 16 FCGS infected cats, and microbial species were identified by 16S rDNA sequencing. Compared with healthy cats, the bacterial diversity and the abundance of anaerobic bacteria increased significantly in FCGS cats.
