Thitarodes xiaojinensis (T. xiaojinensis) is an economically and phylogenetically important Lepidopteran insect. Members of the Thitarodes are the famous hosts for the ascomycete Ophiocordyceps sinensis, commonly known as Chinese caterpillar fungus. Despite the essentiality of research on this moth, little is known about the genomics in this species. Therefore, next generation sequencing technologies were implemented to acquire information regurding Transcriptome of Thitarodes xiaojinensis.
