Power production in China 2010-2022

Electricity generation in China amounted to approximately 8,389 terawatt hours in 2022. This was an increase of nearly 2.2 percent compared to the previous year. Apart from hydropower, all energy sources were more heavily utilized in 2021, with wind and solar power generation growth particularly notable.
