Porphyra dioica and Porphyra umbilicalis microbiome shifts across life cycle

This study reports the compositional and functional profile of Porphyra umbilicalis and Porphyra dioica (Atlantic Nori) microbiome across its life cycle in a integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA) system. Algae biomass and surrounding seawater of five different production stages were sequenced using MGI G400 platform via full shotgun metagenomics.
