Homo sapiens Genome sequencing and assembly

We conducted a transcriptomic study of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and age- and sex-matched healthy controls, with a sample size of 20 per group. Through differential expression analysis, correlation analysis, machine learning for candidate biomarker screening, and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) validation, we have identified genes that may have potential value for the diagnosis of MDD.
