EFFECTIVENESS OF THE TASK-BASED APPROACH IN TEACHING ENGLISH IN MEDICAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

This article discusses the issues of improving the process of teaching English to students in the field of pharmacy. In particular, it analyzes the content of the Task-Based Learning (TBL) approach, its didactic potential, and its role in developing the professional communicative competence of pharmacy students. The study shows that classes organized on the basis of TBL contribute to the development of students’ speaking and writing skills, enhance their independent thinking, and improve their ability to use pharmaceutical terminology in practice. The results of the experimental study confirm that this approach is more effective than traditional teaching methods.
