This series contains submissions of draft reports and replies from research officers of the Department to the Director-General of Education for approval and signature. It consists of information compiled for the benefit of the Director-General in various areas of education including: personnel matters; text-books; vocational guidance; student records; student movements; and histories of schools. Permissions to carry out various projects sent out under the Director-General's signature are also included. There are also replies to inquiries by persons within and occasionally outside the Department. The series is arranged chronologically and each submission is in numerical order for the year.
