Profiling of 18 - 40 nt small RNAs and transcriptomes in the testis and epididymis of WT and Gpx5 KO mice.

Total RNAs were extracted from the Testis and Epididymal Caput, Corpus and Cauda tissues of 2-month and 13-month-old WT and Gpx5 KO mice (C57BL/6). The 18 - 40 nt fraction small RNAs and transcriptomes were subjected to library construction and deep sequencing, using Illumina GAIIx or Hiseq 2000. Deep sequencing profiling of 18 - 40 nt small RNAs and transcriptomes in the Testis and Epididymal Caput, Corpus and Cauda tissues of 2-month and 13-month-old WT and Gpx5 KO mice (C57BL/6) by Illumina GAIIx or Hiseq 2000.本数据集以2月龄与13月龄的野生型（Wild Type, WT）及谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶5敲除（Gpx5 KO）C57BL/6小鼠的睾丸、附睾头、附睾体及附睾尾组织为研究材料，从各组织中提取总RNA后，选取18~40 nt的小分子RNA组分及转录组进行文库构建，并采用Illumina GAIIx或HiSeq 2000平台完成深度测序，实现了上述组织中18~40 nt小分子RNA与转录组的深度测序谱分析。
