Genome analysis of a novel plant growth-promoting species Acidobacteria sp. F-183. Bryobacterales bacterium F-183

Acidobacteria sp. F-183 was isolated from duckweed Spirodela polyrhiza and shown to have a growth-promoting ability to duckweed. The goal of this study is to get insights into the mechanism for growth promotion of aquatic plant by analyzing the genome of F-183 belonging to the phylum Acidobacteria, which is known to be abundant in natural environments such as bulk soil but rarely functionally-characterized.
