资源简介:
We employ a multi-proxy (bulk density, δ13C, δ15N, Sphagnum, plant macrofossil, pollen, macrocharcoal) record from a peat core from Plotnokovo Mire, western Siberia to determine past climatic conditions in a region significantly influenced by the interplay of different air masses. More specifically, our aims were : 1) to reconstruct local long-term changes in hydroclimate and the biogeochemical fluxes of C and N, and to examine their relationship with variations in regional atmospheric circulation patterns and 2) to determine the magnitude of recent climate change within the long-term core trends and whether there are regionally-coherent climatic patterns.. You will find all our measurements on physical propreties and plant macrofossils. As the pollen and charcoal records are are undergoing further exploration for ongoing publications please contact me if you are interested in these datasets.
