Time use survey is a survey of people's activities and interaction patterns. The survey's main purpose is to provide an overview of how much time people spend on various tasks. When they perform these tasks. Where and with whom they perform them. Data were collected using questionnaires and guidance booklets. First, it was conducted a telephone interview or a visit interview lasting approximately 20 minutes. Then, the respondents wrote the daily activities and who they were with two fixed days in a guidance booklet.
Time use survey was first conducted in 1971 and has since been held once every ten years.
