ERIDSA: Data, Code, and Supplementary Materials for the EU Resilience Index Development and Sub-component Analysis (2015–2024)

This repository contains the complete data processing pipeline, datasets, and analysis code underlying the construction of the European Resilience Index (ERIDSA), covering 27 EU member states over the period 2015–2024. ERIDSA aggregates 21 country-level indicators (17 SDG-aligned indicators, 2 digital transformation indicators, and 2 external economic exposure indicators) together with 2 EU-level global uncertainty indicators into a composite resilience score using min-max normalisation and Principal Component Analysis (PCA)-derived weighting. Contents: Raw and imputed long-format datasets (SDG, DT, EXP, GU sub-components) Normalised indicator datasets (0–100 scale) used in index construction Jupyter/Colab notebooks documenting each analytical step: missing data imputation, outlier assessment, correlation and multivariate analysis (PCA, KMO, Bartlett's test, Varimax rotation, hierarchical clustering), normalisation, and final index computation
