This dataset was used to research the topic of animal depictions and attitudes towards animals in late medieval travel accounts. The dataset forms the basis of a (Dutch) Master’s thesis at Ghent University in 2020, which can be downloaded from (https://lib.ugent.be/catalog/rug01:002862696) and a forthcoming article in Reinardus Yearbook.
