This FAIRsharing record describes: The IDF (Investigation Description Format) file contains fields describing the study, authors/submitters, protocols, and publications in aims to capture the general description of the experiment and dataset. The IDF file format is one of two main files that make up the MAGE-TAB-Proteomics experimental metadata model format.The IDF component of a MAGE-TAB document consists of a set of unique tags attached to their corresponding values in a simple tab-delimited text format. ProteomerXchange resources developed a file format called submission.px which captures the same information as the MAGE-TAB IDF.
