Balloon-borne sounding system (BBSS): Vaisala-processed winds, pressure, temperature, and relative humidity from a radiosonde

The housondewnpnS1.b1 datastream contains measurements of atmospheric moisture, pressure, temperature, and horizontal wind from a balloon-borne sounding system. This instrument provides in situ measurements of the thermodynamic state of the atmosphere and wind speed and direction, specifically Vaisala-processed winds, pressure, temperature, and relative humidity from a radiosonde. The data were collected at Supplemental Facility S1 (Houston, TX, Supplemental Facility 1 for instruments colocated at M1), which is part of the Houston, TX, site (Mobile Facility for TRACER), between October 1, 2021, and September 25, 2022.
