Mutation and editing of microRNAs may severely change either the expression levels of mature microRNAs or the targets of mature miRNAs. The DNA and small RNA of a human neuroepithelial stem cell line was sequenced using Illumina X10 and HiSeq4000 equipment respectively to identify the mutation and editing sites in microRNAs.
