This dataset contains soil functional characteristics collected between 2016 and 2017 on five sites of cropland and grassland agroforestry and adjacent monocultures in Germany. Four replicates each were measured within the tree row and at 1m, 4m, 7m and/or 24m distances from the tree row in agroforestry, as well as in the monocultures.
