The misuse of antibiotics leads to the development of antimicrobial resistance in bacteria, and the production of resistance genes causes damage to the environment. Therefore, there is an urgent need to find antibiotic alternatives, as an emerging next-generation probiotic, Parabacteroides goldsteinii has been shown to have an ameliorating effect in the treatment of inflammation, and this study analyzed the changes in intestinal microbiota in DSS piglets after gavage of Parabacteroides goldsteinii solution by 16S sequencing technology.
