Cognitive Bias: Confirmation Bias in News Evaluation.

This study investigates whether individuals are more likely to believe and accept news articles that align with their pre-existing beliefs. The research explores how confirmation bias influences the evaluation of news credibility, particularly in politically and socially charged contexts. By analyzing participants’ perceptions of accuracy, trustworthiness, and persuasiveness of news articles that either support or contradict their beliefs, the study aims to understand how cognitive bias shapes news interpretation and decision-making.
