Global mRNA decay in Gluconobacter oxydans 621H

In this study we conducted genome-wide mRNA decay analysis to get further insights into the physiology of Gluconobacter oxydans. The microarray analysis aimed at the determination of the mRNA level changes in G. oxydans after addition of rifampicin. The analysis was performed three times by independent biological replicates. G. oxydans cells were harvested for isolation of total RNA directly before (t0) and 2 min (t2), 5 min (t5), 10 min (t10) as well as 15 min (t15) after addition of rifampicin. Each sample after addition of rifampicin (tx) was compared to t0 samples.
