The Paternal Education Paradox: Socioeconomic Determinants and Male Involvement in Antenatal Iron-Folic Acid Adherence in Bosaso, Somalia

This record contains the underlying and extended data for the study titled “Paternal Education, Socioeconomic Determinants, and Male Involvement in Iron–Folic Acid Supplementation Adherence among Pregnant Women in Bosaso, Somalia.” The study was a facility-based cross-sectional survey conducted among 400 pregnant women attending antenatal care services in selected health facilities in Bosaso, Puntland, Somalia. The dataset includes anonymized responses on socio-demographic characteristics, partner-related factors, obstetric history, antenatal care utilization, anemia-related knowledge, iron–folic acid supplementation practices, and adherence status. Extended materials include the questionnaire, informed consent form, codebook, and statistical analysis outputs.
