资源简介:
The carbonate clumped isotope paleothermometer is becoming more widely used in the geosciences because it is less sensitive to solution δ 18O and Mg/Ca than other carbonate-based temperature proxies. However, dissolution effects on this paleothermometer have not yet been studied in foraminifera. This dataset presents stable and clumped isotope analyses of core-top samples from a transect at the Ontong Java Plateau. The samples span six different species of planktic foraminifera: G. ruber, T. sacculifer, G. siphonifera, N. dutertrei, P. oblquiloculata, and G. tumida. Samples span depths from 1598m above the calcite saturation horizon to 4438m. This dataset also includes samples from manual dissolution experiments on G. ruber, T. sacculifer, P. obliquiloculata, and G. tumida.
