Selected Ambulatory care sensitive conditions (ACSCs) admission rate ratio

Provides a figure and table showing the standardised admission rate ratio fora selected ACSC across all areas (e.g. all LGAs), compared to Victoria(Victoria = 1)ACSCs are those for which hospitalisation is thought to be avoidable with theapplication of public health interventions and early disease management,usually delivered in ambulatory setting such as primary care. High rates ofhospital admissions for ACSCs may provide indirect evidence of problems withpatient access to primary healthcare, inadequate skills and resources, ordisconnection with specialist services.
