Cassava EST project. Manihot esculenta

Large numbers of ESTs have been generated from various tissues of cassava with an aim to study genetic diversity, biotic and abiotic stress resistance and improved starch production. Most of the work is in progress at the USDA/ARS, State University Station, Fargo, ND; University of Perpignan, Perpignan, France; and International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), Colombia.
