资源简介:
In previous studies, TGFBI (transforming growth factor-beta-induced) has been identified as a marker for the partial-epithelial-mesenchymal transition (partial-EMT) program in Head and Neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC). However, the precise role of TGFBI in the progression of HNSCC remains poorly understood. In this project, we aimed to investigate the contribution of TGFBI to the malignant behavior of HNSCC cells. Through RNA-sequencing analysis of TGFBI-overexpressing HNSCC cells, we identified TAGLN (transgelin) as a downstream effector of TGFBI, responsible for mediating TGFBI-induced sphere formation. Our findings shed light on the functional implications of TGFBI and TAGLN in HNSCC, providing valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms driving HNSCC progression.
