The data set contains the 1 km spatial resolution evapotranspiration (ET) and 500 m spatial resolution gross primary productivity (GPP) from Global Land Surface Satellite (GLASS) products during 2001–2018 in southern Guangxi; soil moisture from Zheng et al. (2023), leaf area index (LAI) from GLASS, and atmospheric variables (vapor pressure deficit (VPD), shortwave radiation, and precipitation) from He et al. (2020) during 2001–2018 in southern Guangxi; and the daily eddy covariance fluxes of the HK-MPM (22.49°N, 114.02°E) site during 2016–2018. The aa6ridge.m code is used to calculate the dominant factor and relative contribution of each grid point within the basin, and aa6site.m is used to calculate the relative contribution of different land cover and soil texture types.
