Genome-wide maps of chromatin state in murine Müller glia

We investigated the epigenetic plasticity of adult (postnatal day (P) 28) murine Müller glia using ChIP-seq analysis. Overall design: To characterize the epigenetic states of the adult Müller glia, we isolated Glast+ cells from P28 retinas (Glast/Slc1a3 is a marker of Müller glia precursors and Müller glia in the retina). To study genome-wide histone modifications in Müller glia, we chose four histone marks: H3K4me3, H3K4me1, H3K27me3, and H3K9me3.
