Non-European Mathematics Manuscripts: Multilingual Translation Drafts and Modern LaTeX Sources

Current multilingual non-European mathematics release for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts project. This record is organized by language and corpus, with combined reader PDFs for quick browsing and individual work PDFs for direct download. Reader surface: [##########] English bilingual translations: 21 work-level PDFs / 60 TeX files; [##########] classical-modern Chinese translations: 7 work-level PDFs / 22 TeX files; [##########] Arabic translations: 6 work-level PDFs / 11 TeX files; [##########] original-language modern LaTeX drafts: 19 work-level PDFs; [##########] reference/witness drafts: 5 work-level PDFs. The top-level PDFs use human-readable filenames and begin with an ordering number: the index and combined readers first, followed by work-level translation readers, original-language readers, and historical reference readers. Each public PDF begins with a short front-matter page identifying what it is, its status, and how to use it. The source TeX, OCR/review notes, working page images, audit/repair notes, and as-received source/provenance archive are bundled in language-organized ZIP artifacts with readable titles. Reader-surface quality note. This version incorporates the 2026-05-28 multilingual reader-repair update: all 66 public-reader PDFs were rebuilt or rechecked, 52 changed relative to the previous public candidate, 40 component PDFs were regenerated, and 214 TeX sources are included in the repair/source artifact. A full local text sweep of the staged top-level PDFs found no public-facing process-note hits. The local text audit records two residual false-positive process-word matches, both inside Sanskrit transliteration rather than tool or process notes. Human-readable contents. The current upload candidate contains 66 top-level reader PDFs totaling 4,533 pages. The public reader names are unchanged from the previous version for stable direct download links, but 52 PDFs differ by size/hash after the reader-repair update. The repaired artifact ZIP contains editable TeX, regenerated component PDFs, text-sweep reports, checksums, and repair notes. Large source-PDF, OCR/page-image, and as-received provenance archives remain attached so the record does not lose prior source material. Round-2 repair update. This version promotes four verified public-reader replacements: the index, the combined modern Chinese reader, the combined Arabic reader, and the Yang Hui Arabic part 1 reader. The repair removes actionable color-control and process-text leaks from those readers; the Yang Hui Arabic reader now has 27 pages, and the combined Arabic reader now has 282 pages. The round-2 repair notes and patched source files are preserved in the audit/repair ZIP. Workflow. Source scans and witnesses are collected, converted into TeX drafts, checked into readable PDFs, and published with source artifacts for inspection and correction. Readers are welcome to suggest better scans or missing texts. This release is draft work for checking and continuation, not a proofed critical edition.
