Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, with high incidence and lethality in global cancer rankings. Fusobacterium nucleatum has been shown to be a promoter of ESCC progression and has been as-sociated with shorter survival in ESCC. However, the functional and molecular mecha-nism by which Fn is involved in the progression of ESCC remains poorly understood.
