Bilateral cultural agreements, 1919-1980, curated from the electronic World Treaty Index

This dataset, curated on the basis of a subset of data in the electronic World Treaty Index (worldtreatyindex.com) or eWTI [1], offers metadata on all known bilateral cultural agreements signed between 1919-1980. It includes several additions and corrections to the eWTI data, as well as new labels. Prepared as part of the research project The Culture of International Society, this dataset is analyzed in an article tentatively entitled “The Rise of the Cultural Treaty.”
