Soil microorganisms under altered shrub age

Based on the background of anthropogenic shrub introductions in arid regions, the long-term presence of ground shrubs has resulted in changes in vegetation structure, soil properties, and functions in desert grassland ecosystems. Therefore, by understanding the soil microbial traits of shrubs of different ages, we were able to predict the future impacts of shrub persistence on the soil cycle.
